Can't believe the price for a 100" TV. My first 55" Rear projection HDTV cost $2500 haha. My Mom was pissed I bought it.

I personally think it's worth thinking of TVs more in terms of degrees of view rather than size. You can use a screen size/distance calculator to see how many degrees of view your TV would take up at your seating distance. I think the pro recommendation is 30 to 40 degrees of view. Personally, I prefer closer to 30 or even 27 is still pretty immersive. For me at least, past 33, you start having to do a lot more moving your eyes to track what's going, whereas around 30 you can just sit back and watch. I suspect people who don't like VR or 3D movies are also those who would not enjoy closer to 40 degrees of view. Around 35 I start to get headaches/a little motion-bothered especially if playing a 3D RPG.

Agree. And it's different for different methods. Direct light of a tv is different then reflected light from a projector. Movie experience is different from tv. Gaming even more different... I like. 95+ viewing angle for pc gaming.

You can play around with this https://www.projectorscreenstore....lator.html

65" would get you close to 27 degrees while 75" would get you close to 30 or 31

Yes, your point about PC gaming brings up another interesting point that it's not just about viewing angle because the distance of the focal point makes a difference in how your eyes work. My eyes get tired at close distances even though I have great visual acuity. So it stresses my eyes to do PC gaming on a big monitor. 130" screen 20 feet away is very different...very immersive in a different way (and easier on my eyes). One isn't necessarily better than the others, but there are just a lot of different factors to think about. It's good that people ask questions and think about what works best for them.

Also, this comes with Google TV instead of Roku (what I'm used to), and its far superior! You can browse the entire internet for content with this and has voice control, comes in handy when you have little kids and they're demanding things while you're trying to change a diaper and make meals
