Same here. I ended up getting a second at the $130 price. Just one of these is an incredible sounding speaker. Two of them paired together is SO good. My biggest gripe (and a factor in my decision to ultimately sell them) was the fact that despite how HK knocked the engineering of this model out of the park, you still had to perform a manual stereo pair of the two speakers with every single power cycle. It is not new feature for Bluetooth speakers to stereo pair anymore and I honestly can't believe how HK couldn't be bothered to offer a memory function to auto enter a stereo pair mode as soon as the secondary speaker is powered on. I have $12.50 Bluetooth speakers that do this flawlessly so, in my opinion, HK really dropped the ball there. Outside of that, these are one of the absolute best sounding speakers you can buy.

I bought a few of these. It's an excellent deal. The last time it was 150 and I think the lowest ever for the model 3 was 140, but that was over a year ago. Earlier models were less, but you won't see those prices again. Great sound and can be used with another one as a stereo pair. Battery lasts longer than earlier models. Should be used on a hard surface because it has a down firing subwoofer that is unprotected.

Excellent price, as others have said lowest was around $130, I bought one Feb '24 and Dec' 24 for that. $160 is still a great price. Amazing speaker, don't mistake / compare with the earlier versions. This is a 3-way stereo system, battery lasts forever, and it's got an amazing punch through the down firing sub. Unfortunately, that one is exposed at the bottom so this is an indoor or terrace machine, not for the beach. Battery not removable, heavy AF, and only "hand luggage" if you dare to travel with it.

It has a a hidden setting for adjusting bass and treble. Press bluetooth and minus at the same time to adjust bass and microphone and plus button to adjust treble. You will see the light cycle through 3 stages, low, medium (neutral) or emphasized. I think neutral is still best and the rest you can do via equalizer in Spotify etc. Love it. The little HK Luna speaker is pretty amazing too, but I only saw that one once on sale, and obviously cannot compete with this one. But that one is great for travel and you can pair 2 as well for stereo mode, which is amazing for the size of the Luna.

I honestly had to do a Google search during the first episode that showed the quantum gate device just to make sure that the show runners didn't use one of these as a prop and then just cover it with foil or something.

For anyone who has used these in a stereo pair, I see in the manual where it talks about holding the Bluetooth button on each for 5 seconds to start the stereo pair. Do you have to do that pairing process every time you power them on or do you do it a single time and then will they keep the stereo pairing mode each time you power them off/on after that? Thank you!

Wow, I have one and was thinking of buying a second one to use as a stereo pair, but no way if you have to go through the ten second pairing process every time you power them on! That's a joke. What a bummer HK direct fix that. ☹️ Thanks for the scoop.
