I have the white one too and was super impressed with putting it together. The fasteners appeared to be high quality and no issues with misalignment at all.
Be aware that Flexispot is shady. Ordered hair dryer on 8/2. Shipping label was created but never send to ship. Over span of 2+ months and 3 phone calls and still did not ship. I was prepared to do credit chargeback but luckily they refunded my money.
I also got the white version with the previous deal for ~$210. I do think msrp 370-400 is on the high side, I'd say 250-300 seems more reasonable.
I mainly got this for the ridiculous amount of desk space and I've been happy with it overall.
My previous desk was a standard standing desk 48x24, so going to 79x32 has been a massive change, literally lol. (It's technically around 78.75x31.5 when I measured it).
I was actually surprised by the 4 piece desk top, the seams are there yes but not as noticeable as I anticipated. If you use a large mousepad you wouldn't notice them at all. That being said, I'd say my previous desk was a little sturdier (thicker desk depth, wider/bulkier leg supports).
TLDR: If you're looking a budget standing desk with tons of work space, it's tough to beat this desk at this price point. Just keep in mind you get what you pay for in terms of overall quality and sturdiness.
It matters. For example, when you clean the desk, one piece is easier to clean. Dirt can trap inside the seam between panels. Another example will be drawing a long straight line across the entire desk which is easier without the crossing panels.
