So what's the benefit of the deeper basket? It seems the Foodi having a shallow but long basket is more ideal to let air flow.
Then again, what even is an air fryer than a convection oven? Or maybe I'm using it wrong...

I had it for about 3 years. The Foodie did everything just "ok".
This dedicated air fryer air fries FAR better than the flip up one. The air flow is much better in the baskets.
Even though a frozen pizza won't fit in the baskets, I have no regrets.
