On Pixel watches, do the Fitbit health tracking features require a paid subscription?
In my family, experience with the more-affordable Fitbit Charge watches has been that (1) they are not water resistant, let alone waterproofed, and (2) health tracking is partly paywalled behind a subscription.

Which Fitbit Charge do you have? I have one, and I go swimming in lakes, take showers, and swim in my pool with it on and have had 0 issues.

They do not require a paid subscription. There are a few very minor additional features for the paid option but they aren't any features that I feel are important.
This is available in Target too. I got 5% off for being Target Redcard and then had a 15%off Circle bonus promo code and very happy getting 20% off on top of this deal. Thanks
How well does this work with Galaxy phones? S25u? Does it sync with Samsung Health?
I have an S25 Ultra. Got a Samsung watch waiting to be picked ups at Best Buy because the Pixel watch doesn't mesh well. Miss out on certain features and no syncing with Samsung Health.

The general consensus among watch owners is that if you have a pixel phone, get a pixel watch. If you have a Galaxy phone, get a Galaxy watch.
I think I saw the Galaxy watch 7( last year's model ) for around $50 to $100 here on SD. I think that's a steal for a watch like that. Also more durable than the pixel watches due to the sapphire glass screen. I've smacked mine accidentally against concrete walls and the screen is still in perfect condition. OneUI 8 update recently also made the galaxy watch start looking more sleek in software similar to the pixel watch if that matters to you.
Definitely recommend though getting a watch that in the same family as the phone that you have. More features and easier integration that way.
