Curious how a 20v compared to the 60/80v models like greenworks or Ego. Sounds weak as heck lol

it uses batteries in series so it's 40v which requires 2x20v which nominal is 36v which is still weaker than ego and greenworks

if you have the small yard it will do it. I have buddy has this machine and with an hour no problem. I see people complained about the battery gets overheat after time goes.

The mower is fine but the batteries are dog shit. Most dewalt batteries use LG or Samsung cells. The 10ah use some Chinese brand and have an insane failure rate. Be prepared to keep sending them back for replacements

Ahh, just picked this up from my store. They still have 2 more in stock. The push mower is also on clearance for $300 and have around 7 left.
Will use it in winter for mulching and see how the batteries behave.

I have a Greenworks 80v model that has now gone through 3 seasons. Never had a major issue with it. My biggest gripe with it that they have fixed on newer revisions is that on mine it has 2x 80v battery slots but it only pulled juice from one at a time. This means that as the one gets low you will have power loss until the switchover occurs which can be finicky. Not a huge problem but can be annoying for the little bit it's weaker. The new models pull voltage from both batteries at the same time so you will have peak power longer. Only positive of the old way was that when one battery died you could pull it and put it on the charger and then use the fresh one. Never was necessary for me though.

As for the mower itself it's powerful. It will cut though some pretty tall wet grass and I always run mine on turbo mode. The headlight is kinda gimicky unless you like cutting grass as it gets dark but it's not really bright enough to cut grass at night imo. self propel is nice too because you can control it independently of the blades so if you just want it to pull without the blade spinning you can do that.
