I'm no expert, but I was in the same boat as you a couple months back lol. The Macaroon set is the first set they made, then the Have a Seat, and then this Big Into Energy is the newest set.

If you buy from an official source, like this deal here is, you shouldn't have to worry about knockoffs. However, in case anyone is curious, authentic ones typically have:

1. Box is entirely textured that you can feel as you run your fingers across it. Fakes boxes tend to have little to no texture.
2. The fur on the Labubu is very soft, fakes are cheaper feeling. Hard to tell unless you feel them side by side.
3. The box will have a scratch off silver QR code that you can scan to verify authenticity. Fakes have the QR code already printed on the box and are not a silver+scratch off kind.
4. The pull tab to open the box should have a long red strip on the underside of the pull tab. Fakes tend to not have this red strip.
5. Should have a character card/sticker for the Labubu you get. Fakes tend to not have any.

That's all I can think of atm but there's probably more.

$28 is the regular price btw. They've been sold out for months or years and it's finally starting to become more easily obtainable.

Appreciate the info. I haven't bought any due to fear of getting a fake one. Since this is from Amazon I figured I could trust it.

I think these are - hands down - the ugliest things I've ever seen. I don't get it. And I guess I'll save a lot of money because there is zero chance I'll spend a dime on these things.
