For a chainsaw at the end of a long pole, this will work for every situation that it is designed to handle (being private use in people's yards). This is not a commercial machine. Most people could not even use this when fully extended with an 8" saw. A longer blade would just be heavier. This can easily saw through 6" limbs. That is a big branch and plenty big to cause damage (to people and property) when people do not know what they are doing. I own this tool.
Love the tool - perfect height and if any longer would be a no go. Would be to long. It's perfect for our home cutting dead limbs cutting mother - in Law's hair. Chainsaw works good on her toenails. Just kidding. Don't try that. But I love the tool. Did buy her one.
