this is a really good deal because their iced tea is so good compared to other fast food spots and it's like 3$ value (chips and drink)
For me, it is more of an objective, if I am buying a mini for $6.95 and Chips and Pure Leaf Tea combined cost ($4.99); it would not be worth it because the chips and drink combined are under $6.95. If they were at $6.95 combined and above, it would be worth to buy the sub. The fast food places know that they are offering priced up items that are not worth much to make you buy an overpriced sub. If they do not even think chips and drink are even worth making more expensive, then to me, it would not be worth it.
Look at the Firehouse Subs offer posted on this site. They are giving a medium sub and drink with purchase of a medium sub (give you an additional item with something of equal value to the sub you are buying). THAT would be a good deal. Downgrade it to a BOGO and you would be getting a 1 medium sub for 1 medium sub (equal value).
I like Burger King's cookies and so they would be my exception if I had to buy something for $1 min purchase even though they are $1.19 now in order to redeem a "with purchase" offer. Those are good offers anyway because the free item is always worth more than $1, sometimes more $s than the minimum.
