you can check on the Costco app. on the bottom, click on warehouse and search. price should be accurate. 1 of 3 locations near me has this price but it also happens to be the worst Costco in the US.

Induction heating ONLY works on pans that will stick to a magnet. Half of stainless types are magnetic.

I have this. It doesn't quite get hot enough - my regular gas stove gets hotter faster, so I just end up cooking with that instead.

Damn wish I had a Costco membership.
Do you have a close friend or family member who trusts or likes you who also has a membership? Two are allowed to share one membership but separate accounts (sign in and credit card).

I didn't think it was worth it for $80 previously but for $50, seems worth a shot. Best uses for me are as a steamer and to cook outdoors. Thanks OP

So it appears to be in stock at our local Costco, but the listing that came up via the warehouse search show the original price of $79.99. Does anyone know if it will have the $30 discount? I recently discovered while shopping for Frontline that stuff in the warehouse is not guaranteed to have the same manufacturer's discount that you can find online. Very annoying, IMO.

I have had a lot of bad experiences with Nuwave products failing and then unable to return or $$$ shipping on my own dime to send it for warranty. Not sure if this would be excluded from Costco's return policy as an electronic but you might want to check.

Costco usually has a 90 day return notice on the product page under the shipping and returns section. This wok doesn't have any special 90 day notices so it should be excluded from the electronics policy.
We have a Nuwave two pot induction cooktop that we've been using exclusively for seven months and have had zero issues. We love it. Passed this one up in store for $129 but was curious about it. For $50 I just couldn't pass it up.

This appliance is great in concept but not so great in execution. Even on its highest setting it cools down too quickly and the pan itself is not thick enough to retain the heat. As previously posted, you need to cook in small batches or the items you cook have to have a small water content.

Same here, 3 of 4 of my Nuwave products have failed after a few years. Can usually find some on Craigslist at a reasonable price rather than getting fixed.

This doesn't get hot enough to generate wok hei.
Neither do the cooktops most Chinese people have in their homes. Your average family in China doesn't have a crazy restaurant-grade jet engine burner for their wok. Wok hei isn't even a consideration in the cuisine of many regions of China.

The fetishization of wok hei in the US has gotten kinda ridiculous.
