you can check on the Costco app. on the bottom, click on warehouse and search. price should be accurate. 1 of 3 locations near me has this price but it also happens to be the worst Costco in the US.

Induction heating ONLY works on pans that will stick to a magnet. Half of stainless types are magnetic.

Nonmembers can often buy things on their website. There's just a 5% surcharge.

Yeah thats true in many cases, but doesn't look like it in this case. On my end this one requires a Costco account.

Originally $129.99 then $99.99 then $79.99.
Now $49.99 after, "$30 manufacturer's savings, valid 11/1/25 through 11/30/25. While supplies last. Limit 5 per member."
I use it as a steamer. It is fits all my plates. Boils water faster than flame. Remember to oil wok after use to prevent rust.
When you say "it fits all my plates", you mean it fits on your Gas stove/range?

I would like to buy it but just concerned if my 20 year old Condo outlets supports max watts of this device?
Alternatively, the Wok can be used on the existing Gas stove/range without the Electric stove that comes with this package?

I have this. It doesn't quite get hot enough - my regular gas stove gets hotter faster, so I just end up cooking with that instead.
You mean the Wok that comes with this pack that you use over the regular Gas stove?

I literally had just paid $100. Just chatted for a refund... They are sending it as a digital shop card but that's fine

Neither do the cooktops most Chinese people have in their homes. Your average family in China doesn't have a crazy restaurant-grade jet engine burner for their wok. Wok hei isn't even a consideration in the cuisine of many regions of China.

The fetishization of wok hei in the US has gotten kinda ridiculous.
Good to know this.

https://youtu.be/pDMGXegEXsc?si=q...> <br /> I recommend watching this guy's videos on this induction burner. He advises against using the included wok because it is coated in PFAS and/or some other kind of forever chemicals.
That's the wok that comes with the other burner he's reviewing. Not the Nuwave.

for steaming, i place food onto plate, then plate into the steamer.
my gas steamer is 9 inches in diameter.
most of my plates are 9 to 11 inches.
the Wok is 14 inches, which fits plates easily and comfortable.
20 years old outlets is fine, 80 to 100 years old outlet is questionable.

Wok can be used anywhere gas, fire, schooling kid, etc.

I seen reviews on this product. One downside is people say this induction wok doesn't have "wok hei" meaning "breath of the wok". Basically smoky, charred flavor, aroma, big fire flames that woks are known for having when cooking with one.

I have had a lot of bad experiences with Nuwave products failing and then unable to return or $$$ shipping on my own dime to send it for warranty. Not sure if this would be excluded from Costco's return policy as an electronic but you might want to check.
We've been using the same basic Nuvave cooktop for the past 8 years. It's still going strong. Just a bit of wear and tear.

My local costco didn't have it in stock... but I ordered online for delivery and it was only an extra $2.99... it's worth $3 to not go there in person lmao
