you can check on the Costco app. on the bottom, click on warehouse and search. price should be accurate. 1 of 3 locations near me has this price but it also happens to be the worst Costco in the US.

Induction heating ONLY works on pans that will stick to a magnet. Half of stainless types are magnetic.

This hurts. I paid $175 for mine 2 years ago....ah well, it's a nice unit regardless.

Dude watch it again.

is it hard to clean since it is not non-stick surface?

is it difficult to find a matching non-stick wok since it is concave and I need something of exact match?
It's carbon steel. With proper seasoning and maintenance, it's superior to any pan coated with non-stick, similar to a cast iron pan.

Lol! They just keep dropping the price. If you're expecting results like you would get with a carbon steel wok and a gas stove, pass. Keep in mind, if you have to replace wok, gonna be hard to find one that fits exactly.

I bought this for my 2mm thick wok. It fits fine. Also have a .5mm wok which works too. As long as it's round, it'll work.

1500W is about 5000btu in math. If you consider the lower efficiency of a gas burner, 1500W induction cooktop is about 8000btu gas cooktop. The largest burner of your home gas cooktop can be 20,000btu or more. In restaurants, gas stoves are 100,000btu or more. So don't expect this to give you the flavors from restaurants.
I bought this, because I wanted to use wok to replace chemically coated cookware.

Gas is not as efficient as induction.

for steaming, i place food onto plate, then plate into the steamer.
my gas steamer is 9 inches in diameter.
most of my plates are 9 to 11 inches.
the Wok is 14 inches, which fits plates easily and comfortable.
20 years old outlets is fine, 80 to 100 years old outlet is questionable.

Wok can be used anywhere gas, fire, schooling kid, etc.
Can you elaborate more ? You put the metallic steamer on the induction bowl instead of the wok ? Doesn't your steamer have a flat base and would wobble ? Does induction heat up your steamer ?If you put a ceramic plate inside your steamer doesn't that defeat the purpose of your steamer (i.e. block the steam) ?
