I still think it's too expensive for what it is.

Chiming in on the 40" thread, I noted that on a VA panel with this few dimming zones, you will have pretty bad light bleed on dark screens most prominently where the apex of the curve is.

There's no other 37" monitor out there. 40" 42" is too big for most folks. This might be the sweet spot. It's a niche size.

had a 42" - too large for a desk IMO. Now have a 32" 4K OLED and LOVE it.

There are, in fact, several other 37 inch monitors out there from Samsung alone.

Isn't this a strange size? There is 32' and there is 40' and 42'.

Are these good for a 4k monitor at this size?

I picked up this monitor about two weeks ago for $600. The 37" size felt a bit overwhelming at first, but I quickly adjusted to it. While it isn't OLED, it's priced like a VA panel—and that's the trade-off. I wanted something larger than 32" in a standard 16:9 aspect ratio, and true OLED options at this size simply don't exist outside of TVs. It's a solid gaming monitor overall, but if you're accustomed to OLED image quality, you'll notice the difference. Also, make sure you have a powerful GPU if you plan on playing modern AAA titles.
