Good deal. I'm waiting for a $350 deal for the 51mm epix pro 2 sapphire though.

This is probably a new watch without warranty so called refurbished. A great deal for the price. No ECG and flash light but it comes with a on screen red light to use in dark

Speaker and microphone. Otherwise it's rad.
To be clear, the Epix Pro gen 2 also does NOT have mic and speaker. I believe only these Garmin watches DO: fenix 8 seriesForerunner 570Forerunner 970Venu 4 seriesAlso, I love my 51mm Epix*Pro* gen 2. Really thought the flashlight would be a gimmick but I use and love it so much. This seems like a great price for this watch, though.

I just pulled the trigger on this one. I have a the Galaxy Watch 6. I like the look and some functions on the 6 but always worried about getting in water with it. Also the battery life is pretty bad. 3 to 4 days generally. I do a lot of water sports and this should be a little more robust and have gps and better fitness tools. Battery and GPS is really the reason why I'm getting it. Also has a 30 day return so if something better pops up I should be able to pivot.
I kiteboard with my GW6 all the time and never had an issue - YMMV. Just rinse it after use in salt-water. The battery life is terrible, I have no idea how you're getting 3-4 days. I get around 24 hours IF I don't do any GPS logging. The ability to talk through the watch has come in handy multiple times; bummer that's not available on the reasonably priced Garmins.

3-4 days is amazing for a watch 6

you are getting the same battery life that people with the watch 5 pro and watch ultra are getting.. and their batteries are almost 40% larger than the 47mm watch 6

This is a solid deal. I have the Epix Gen 2 and it has everything I need. I wish I had the flashlight like the Epix Pro, but I do not mind.

How is venu 3s? I love epix, but it is too big for my wife. What is the thing that venu3 or 3s missed?

I have 42m epix pro gen 2 with saphire / titanium finish.
I love the look, but i dont love the watch and frankly regretting getting it.
What is good:
- when i got it , battery life was phenomenal, huge upgrade compared to apple watch.
- it looks like a nice watch imo, i prefer it to apple watch
everything else i did not like.
- i am not an athlete and for me all the exercise tracking was overly confusing compared to apple watch
- when i set watch to charge , half the time it will switch watchface to the first one , it is mildly infuriating
- custom apps in my experience are kinda garbage, i am not surprised, i tried to make my own watch face , and environment they use for apps is atrocious
- after about year and a half batery life is barely 3 days, so while it is better than apple watch it is not something that is convinient and my watch always end up dying on my on the 3rd day
- if there is a way to record an exercise after , i did not find it. but frankly have no desire to figure it out anymore.

All in all if you already using garmin and you like interface and it is working for you - upgrading to this one would make sense, more over at this price, i got mine for like 800$ with discount. If you like interface and simplicity of apple watch , try it in store first ( any garmin watch really) , for me it is a pain in the neck. Setting up tracking from garmin in apple health needed way more hops. But that might be not a garmin fall.

How come Venu 3 more expensive than Epix? Is Venu3 better than Epix?
I am waiting for Venu X1 BF deal.
Also what's the difference between Venus3 and Venu3s

I'm debating between the epix gen 2 vs the fenix 7 pro sapphire solar. This seems much cheaper and meet my needs but the strong battery life on fenix 7 solar is tempting. What's the typical real battery life of the epix gen 2? Currently using vivoactive 4 and battery started to degrade, making me recharge every 4 days with typical use.

Great deal. I already have several garmin watches and don't need yet another one. But if I was in the market for a new watch I would be all over this.
Yes, the flashlight on the Pro model is useful but definitely not worth the almost 2 times the price. I have a garmin watch with a flashlight built in (Descent 3i) and only use it when stumbling out of bed to go to the bathroom. For this scenario, Garmin has a "flashlight mode" that also works on this non-pro model. In this mode, the screen turns white and provides a surprising amount of light that's almost as good as the real flashlight on the pro model.
Save your money and get this one instead over the pro.

I just bought this 3 months ago (not on this deal) and came from galaxy watch 7. Just started getting serious about running about 1 month previously. The features and accessible data through this watch is night and day compared to galaxy watch.
Honestly i couldn't imagine going back to the Galaxy watch, which I now refer to as a Toy for exercise tracking.
Don't even think twice!

Hi, I'm not familiar with refurbished products. Do they install a new battery as part of the refurbish process? Thanks.
