The Pocket 6 is even better but not out until January 2026 for ＄209 and the option on where you want the dpad (some prefer dpad below the joystick for ps2 and newer games)

But if you had a second phone sitting around unused, I can see the logic of spending $30 vs $180. Especially if you are just dipping your toes into the concept of emulation.
