If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

Just had chat with T-Mobile. You need to move a post-paid line. This is not going to work for me (only 1 out of 4 is post-paid). Good deal.
Did they actually check the numbers? A lot of times, a prepaid carrier number will get recognized as a line with the parent company (AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile). Don't volunteer info.

It is some BS, all these companies do great deals for new customers but their existing customers get not even half the deal, I mean really?
Sounds like you are switching to get the new customer deal

Just ported from Verizon. I got 4 iphone 17s. No trade-in.
Only lavender and white colors were available when I placed my order. I got 4 whites.
$10 per line 'device connection fee'
Taxes on the device came out to $200 (virginia).
$240 pay now and $100 per month. (don't know about taxes on the monthly)
Essential plan : slow speed hotspot. slow speed US/Canada/Mexico. no international. no satellite connection (all can be added on as needed).

I have the Same question for ATT prepaid... Did you go through with it, and is there any recourse from T-Mobile after the fact, to cancel the credits?

Some of T-Mobile's MVNO deals don't go live until next week. 11/10 for Mint and 11/13 for Metro. The rest of Ultra's deals should show up around the same time. Full press release details here [t-mobile.com].

Probably the safest is to do it via Costco or Sam's Club. You get activation fees waived, 90 days to return (I think restocking fee is waived, too), and some bonus prepaid or gift cards, and you would know if you see the following promotion within your tmobile account at https://www.t-mobile.com/my-account/promotions, after the phone ships out.

Apple Activate ID250624
Promo Code: R363

Looking for some vets to help; 1st: Is there any possibly way to unlock these phones during the 24 months of use so I can use an overseas esim while travelling to other countries? 2nd: is it possible to buy 4 iphone 17pro as part of this deal - I understand I would pay more for the pro and still only receive $830 in bill credits & I would be fine with that, but wondering if it is possible within the framework of this deal. 3rd: I'm currently w/ a random carrier like Redpocket or Helium, but can I port my number to US cellular and then take advantage of this deal? is there a set amount of days I need to stay with US cellular - would I be able to sign up for a plan and get that plan refunded if I port right out? wondering what the costs with US cellular would be. Thanks!
Phones will remain locked for 24 months, or you pay them off early to unlock. You will forfeit the bill credits if you pay the phone off early. You can buy the Pro or Pro Max; your monthly bill will just be more to cover the difference. Max bill credit is $34.59/mo. for 24 months for a total of $830 (see attached image below for promo details). See my response above if you want to do prepaid for the port-in by going through Costco or Sam's Club. You would need to wait for a SDer to try and report back because I can't guarantee T-Mobile hasn't recently found a way to check whether a number is prepaid or postpaid from Verizon/AT&T or an MVNO.

I see Verizon is making Tmobile sweat. Love how they forced a friend of mine to leave over a $90 plan to a $120 plan change (with no new phones) but now is trying to get people back with a better offer with phone included.

Maybe I'm not looking close enough. How is VZW offering a better deal over TMO ? I have TMobile, and with 4 lines ( all unlimited call/data/txt 5/4/LTE/3.. all Gs included, streaming at max ( up to UHD if the device is capable, not limited to HD or FHD ) 50GB/line tethering per month, $5/line discount ( debit card only but.. ), standard Netflix and AppleTV included, TMO Tuesdays ( eh.. but still a benefit )..probably some more stuff that I can't recall.. Monthly bill around $130 with taxes

It does not, I called and when it didn't work, I called but they wouldn't budge.

Do we have any recent Data points from current T-Mobile customers who did a quick switch to Visible or Tello to port back as new customers?
1 user said we have to wait 90days as recent T-Mobile customers so I'm wary in attempting this but also don't want to lose out on the deal. If there's any recent success stories elsewhere such as reddit, please let us know!
