If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

Walmart clearance deals on iPhones are goated especially if you already have a postpaid Verizon or ATT account. I got several IP13 Mini's for $200 + tax each a couple of years ago.
That's crazy

Checked my order status and it showed future shipping date of Nov 26, and arriving Dec 1. This is three weeks out, is everyone getting the same delay???

Never mind, just got an email 10 minutes back and it's shipped and arriving in 2 days.

Overall timeline: went to Costco and ordered the 4-phone from T-mobile kiosk on Saturday morning. E-Sign the agreement from the email Saturday afternoon.
Monday email about estimated shipping date of Nov 26, and arriving Dec 1.
Tuesday noon got the email about phone being shipped out and the shipping tracking number via UPS 2-day.
Wednesday got the phone.
Thursday: took the phone into Costco and CSR helped to port the number from xfinity. I brought a phone with the xfinity app and logged into the xfinity mobile account, CSR obtained the transfer authorization pin and other information from the app. For each line, CSR switched the SIM info from the physical one to the eSIM of the iPhone. The whole process took 40min because each new iPhone has to perform an iOS update.

phones can be unlocked the moment you have them. just pay $10 to those unlockers or wait with carriers to unlock after paying off
Can you guide me to where to find an unlocker for $10? It seems that T Mobile has the strictest unlock rule. Thank you.

Did you get an email with "Great news! Your account is now active and you are ready to take advantage of our best network yet. There's one more step in the process. Visit our support page to complete your SIM and device setup."

it also had the phones you ordered and also new numbers (not ported ones) and associated SIM?

I didn't get to port out any of the numbers yet, and I ordered this via telephone.

My question is that, when do we port in our old numbers? Is it during activation?

Any chance T-Mobile will waive activation fee by Thanksgiving?

Sharing my experience about ordering this at Costco store kiosk:
1. Went to a Costco store with T mobile kiosk (store listed at bottom of this page https://www.costco.com/t-mobile-b...wcase.html)
2. Talked to CSR about porting from Xfinity to this 4-for-$100 and free iphone17 promotion.
3. CSR asked for Costco membership card and driver license to start ordering process.
4. To waive activation fee, CSR stated I need to order an accessory or device protection plan, so I purchased a $20 Apple charger head USB-C 20W. Total comes out to be: sales tax for the 4 phones + $20 charger. $75 GC per line activation seems to qualify for this promo, I didn't ask specifically.
5. CSR ordered four phones with new temporary numbers and gave four physical SIM cards to me. Phone will be shipped to the house (estimate one week) then I can bring it back with SIM card to activate and they will help with porting the number from xfinity.
6. Gave bank checking account / routing number to setup as auto-payment. Also email info so document can be sent and signed electronically. Took about 30minutes and overall a pleasant experience.
7. After shopping at Costco, went home and followed instruction from multiple TMobile emails to sign the agreement, create online account, etc; all the transaction and phone info are listed in TMobile site clearly. I believe only after signing the agreement, then the phone will be shipped. I'm still waiting on shipping/tracking confirmation, but since it's the weekend, maybe it will be processed on Monday.
will update later if anything changes.
Thanks for the breakdown. I've heard Sam's Club might offer a slightly better deal when switching carriers, but I haven't confirmed that myself yet. Has anyone else used Sam's?

If I'm an existing customer with T-mobile with 4 lines (paid off), can I port in 4 new throwaway lines to get the new deal and phones. Then switch those new phones to my existing phone numbers in a month?

IF YOU TRAVEL TO ASIA, , ANY OF THE MOBILE PHONE AND REPAIR STORES WILL HAVE " PHONE UNLOCK SERVICES" and they will unlock it for you on the spot for around $10. You can also unlock by contacting any of the " phone unlock services" by googling.
Ofcourse Tmo won't unlock unless its paid off because it is their property until its paid off. It is like not releasing car title to you until loan is paid off.

Do you have any recommendations for any unlocking service you have experience with? I am planning on getting 4 iphones but plan to send at least 2 of them to Asia for use by my parents while I will continue to use the ones I have. This deal will only make sense for me if I can unlock the phones (though I plan to continue on T-Mobile for the entire 24 month period and possibly beyond)

Mine is the same shipping and arriving date as you. I just checked and it's still on backorder. It's the sage thats holding it back.

This is what I did. I now only have 2 paid lines on Tmobile and 4 free lines and I moved my other 4 paid lines over to Google Fi and don't notice any difference. They also have some decent deals going on with Samsung phones right now.
