If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

It does not, I called and when it didn't work, I called but they wouldn't budge.
Odd, I'm on Total and when I put in my phone number for port in it says it checks good.

For Verizon customers - anyone know what deals they have coming? Has anyone called and asked what they can do to prevent you from leaving? I'm probably headed to Costco to grab this deal but have a 5th line and sounds like it may be a hassle with the 5th. Maybe not.
If no one has, I may call tomorrow, yell a bit to see what I can get and report back.
How did it go with a 5th line?

Hey, quick question about your move from Visible → Spectrum → T‑Mobile at Costco for the 4 iPhone 17 / 4 lines deal.Did you manage to do everything in a single day, or did it take longer (for example, waiting for Spectrum lines to fully activate)?Could you please share the exact steps you took (online vs in‑store, eSIM/physical SIM, timing between ports) and any tips or gotchas to make sure the T‑Mobile promo at Costco actually applies and doesn't get denied?
I'm in the same situation and would love to know the exact steps you took (Visible → Spectrum → T-Mobile at Costco) and whether everything went through smoothly in one day. Especially interested in whether the T-Mobile promo triggered without issues. Thanks in advance if you can share your experience!

For existing customers, anyone ever try calling their retention department saying you will switch to a competitor to see if they will honor and deal like this? Trying to avoid the hassle of porting somewhere else.

Did you do this at a warehouse or call the call the 1-833 line?
I couldn't find in the terms that they'd waive the $35/line activation fee, thank you!
I also don't see where its $150/line, but the website does show "Get $75 when you activate a new line".
I was in-warehouse. The lady just shared the terms, I didn't take a close look. We ordered 4, the 4th should be delivered soon, and we will go back in tomorrow or Friday to activate.

All of Visible lines are eSim and I have generated port in PINs from Visible online. I have Spectrum Internet. I called Spectrum and took 4 lines, port in numbers and activated the Spectrum lines completely on my phones Saturday Morning. Sunday Morning generated the Port in Pin from Spectrum account online and transferred to Tmobile at Costco Sunday evening. Tmobile took almost two hours to complete the process. The phones shipped today for 11/27 delivery.

switch to someone were else. you can switch to total wireless or visible.
just plan hop
I understand total wireless and visible are on Verizon tower, but how can I know this would exactly qualify without porting to them to try? Who has tried this recently for this deal?

So I'm in a similar boat to a lot of people. 1 line on verizon post-paid (on a family plan with my parents and sisters family), 1 on Redpocket Verizon, 1 on US Mobile Dark Star (ATT), and one on Visible. I'd love to move them all over. If I do it online it looks like it will work. If I order them and try to port everything over does it mean that they could start just charging me a lot more a month, or if I do it all online do I get to circumvent some of the problems? I guess my plan B is to port them all over to the verizon post-paid and then move them to tmobile, assuming the offer is still going on. I wonder how long I need to be on verizon.
When you try to add to cart for visible line, does it show qualified with credits? I tried my att line and it showed qualified with credits in cart ( I cannot do it as I only have one line).

For google fi users to port out to visible or cricket first then to port in to T-Mobile: does T-Mobile count google fi as t mobile then it has to stay at cricket or visible for 90 days before qualify? Thanks!

So, I'm starting to think that phone number check on the T-Mobile site doesn't necessarily show whether or not you qualify for the deal, but rather that your number qualifies for porting.

My brother had 4 lines on a AT&T MVNO (Consumer Cellular), and the automated number checker said all were good. He proceeded to sign up for the deal. Because he had a fraud alert on his credit that he had forgotten about, he ended up having to go into the store to complete the transaction. He double- and triple-checked with everyone at the store about whether he qualified or not. They of course said, "Oh no problem. But the only way we'll know for sure is for you to port." He proceeded to sign up and they ordered the phones.

Fast forward a few days to when the ordered phones arrived at the store. Long story short, at that point the reps told him "We've been on the phone with corporate for hours trying to get you this deal. Turns out you don't qualify." Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Fortunately for him, he was able to roll back all the changes and stay with his current carrier. Would have been unfortunate to find out later that he was on the hook for paying for all four phones.
