That's not true. Yes, some of the very high end are more likely to be car only, but plenty of high end RC, many over $500, are sold "RTR" for Ready To Run with battery, charger, and remote.

Entry level: simple, all in one toys. Mid tier: RTR kits, upgradable, many pro features. High end: just the car. Every part (battery, ESC, tires, etc) can and will be upgraded. Also assumes the user has a high end controller, charger and batteries, which is why they're all separate at this level.
