I would assume live view only. I ditched ring, went with eufy and never looked back

Nope! Only live view which is pretty useless.

If I recall Eufy is the only major player with no subscriptions as part of their sales strategy.

Subscription required = garbage item. Last thing I need is more subscriptions. Eufy is the way to go

I utilize a range of Ring and Eufy camera models, including the Eufy HomeBase and local Ring options. While Eufy's subscription-free model is great, Ring demonstrates superior performance in AI and motion detection. Both brands offer solid solutions, and I would recommend either. However, a basic subscription is essential for full functionality with Ring. I have observed occasional event omissions with both Eufy and Ring systems. If you already pay for Ring for an alarm or cameras it makes sense to stay with their ecosystem.

very sad to see Ring being very outdated, while being very expensive compared to the best affordable cams like wyze with 4k streaming capabilities.
