I think it's a very good deal for a MiniLED gaming monitor. It's for EDU/EPP account

Not sure why you're getting downvoted, I bought this monitor and compared to my Samsung OLED 34" it looks unimpressive and has bad off-angle viewing. Returned, but only after like 6 chats and 5+ phone calls to get it done. Terrible return process.

I got this one this year for $500. For gaming on a budget it's a decent buy. If you can save for something slightly better like an OLED, go for the OLED. Otherwise, this is a decent monitor for gaming. And yes, it still has scan lines and are most noticeable when it's being use with a PC. I don't mind it and I'm satisfied with it.

G80 oled had been on sale for around $600 new from Samsung. I got one a month ago and it's gorgeous

Sadly, it's been out of stock for that long from samsung.com

Probably because it's not really a fair comparison. The Neo is 4k, 16x9, and can get substantially brighter. While I currently own the G85SD, the Neo was perfectly great when I owned it.

I got this monitor yesterday when I saw this deal go live. For me it checked the boxes in that it was 4k, good refresh rate, 32" curved, and mini LED. In this range, I honestly didn't see much larger than a 27" that's LED and fits those criteria. I understand OLEDs have better picture quality, but burnin especially when used for more than just gaming (spreadsheets, etc.), is becoming common, and I would like a monitor to last more than just a few years. I am just posting in case this thought process helps someone else as well.

One thing to note that others are mentioning is that buying from Samsung directly is extremely hard to return. So do bear that in mind. Unfortunately I do not know if anyone else would honor this kinda discount on it.
