Looks like replacement toner is about $94 x 4 to replace all of them. Fortunately you only have to replace one at a time.

Almost all of them are like that; that's pretty much the going rate.

On Amazon some of the toner colors are cheaper, but that's about right.

This is a great color printer if you don't print much; if you're the type to print 1000 pages + a month, get a printer with a cheaper per-color-page cost. (It's mostly color that this gets pricey; at B&W the costs are inline with everything else.) If you print under 100 or 200 pages a month, none of this matters - the cost of $118 for a color laser will be dirt cheap and will be more important than the price of toner.

I'm in for one because the current entry level for a color laser is normally around $300.

Got it today. Looks to be brand new. Very impressive for $118. Toner for 450 B&W and 400 color.

I got mine and seems new but some packaging are broken. One black toner showed only 10% left. it's 218A toner

Seems to vary. Mine showed no usage in the monitoring tools - ie brand new. Yes, HP could've reset it; Amazon would not have done so. The good news for you at least is for $70 more you have a 1300 page (black) and 400 page (color) printer -- so all told call it $190. I think that's very impressive. Also - log into the printer web page by its' IP address and change the toner consumption to the least conservative settings. Mine was already set this way - to print until the toner is gone, not just when HP judges it to be low.
