I was able to get the 10 Pro for $389 by selecting the 20GB plan and using code YEAROFMINT. I'm not sure how the math worked out that way, but I'll take it!

I ordered yesterday morning around 8am ET with coupon and my order was cancelled. I guess I somehow got unlucky since it sounds like some people ordered later and still got theirs shipped

I would say check if your phone came unlocked. Try with some other carrier's eSIM and ensure that you have an unlocked device. Then activate the Mint eSIM directly in your daily driver and see, if the new phone remains unlocked. 99% chance is that either activation won't work in the old phone or your new phone will remain unlocked, even after Mint plan is activated.
That should be a risk free check I think.
Any suggestions for a cheap or ideally free esim with another carrier that I can use as a test? That's step 1. Step 2 will be converting my existing mint pSIM into an esim to import and see if that locks it. If it does, I assume I won't have any trouble deleting that SIM and adding the one that shipped with the P10P. If it doesn't, hopefully I can activate the new line in my old phone and then just sell the p10p. Otherwise, I guess I'm driving the p10p for 60 days.

Things were a lot easier when everything was psim. 😠

When did you miss it? Yesterday 4pm ET?
I found out it doesn't matter what time you ordered but what time you confirmed it. I confirmed it 5pm PST the next day after ordering.. which is why I was told mine is delayed. I'm still worried though.. I'm worried they still might cancel mine even I told twice they wouldn;t

It would appear that way. That's pretty awesome. I can see the wheels turning in the minds of the resellers.
huh??? is that true? the phone isn't locked if you don't activate it? if that's true, that's crazy

I don't port out any numbers. I buy an annual plan with a new phone and phone number. Point my Google voice number to that number. Unlock the phone after 60 days and sell the phone. Use the service for the remaining 10 months on my daily driver until the plan expires. Buy another new phone & line from Mint, point my Google voice number to it. Rinse and repeat.
but my experience with doing this is Google Voice numbers are always flagged as VoIp in whatever backend systems exists... like I've ported one of my Google Voice numbers to Total Wireless before.. but I still encountered issues with receiving some 2FA codes.. how the heck do you get around that issue? tia

By confirming you mean they put your order in review or something? Because I got a confirmed message right after ordering. This was mid day PST. Haven't seen it shipped yet.

well Mint phone verification team promised I'd get a shipping notification today by email.. but I haven't gotten it yet.. I'm hoping they're just backed up with orders since I confirmed mine a bit late.. and hoping mine doesn't get cancelled.. ugh.. why can't they just have a status tracking page.. their hold times on the phone are a good 60 long minutes and only 8 - 6pm i think

yes, my order automatically got flagged by the system.. i was told probably because billing and shipping addresses were different.. annoying. I proactively called them.. but I was busy all day and didn't get to call them until late in the afternoon.. I mean this deal is good.. but Mint in general sucks so far.. although not the worst of the carriers in the U.S

Did it lock to either of those?
