T-Mobile performs poorly on QCI7 (Mint and every other T-Mobile MVNO) when it's overcrowded, especially in places like Costco or a stadium. However, T-Mobile has the best raw download speeds when it's not congested. One reason for such performance is that almost all name-brand T-Mobile's own plans run on QCI6, as does Google Fi. So, every T-Mobile MVNO will have a bad time (except Google Fi) when congested.
Only a select few Verizon postpaid plans run on QCI7. All other MVNOs (Visible+, Visible+ Pro, Total 5G, 5G+, Spectrum) and Verizon Wireless run on QCI8. Then, at QCI9, all other deprioritized plans, like Visible Base, Total Base, and select US Mobile Warp, are found.

Will this last for a while so that I can wait for anything from Visible for Black Friday?
The biggest differences are
1. Hotspot... Visible is unlimited but they throttle your speed but apps such a PDAnet may bypass this restriction. Mint give you 10GB... have not tried PDAnet on Mint.
2. Other countries... (besides Canada and Mexico... always works for both).. you get 14 days a year with Visible and Mint you have to pay extra for (I think it cost us like $12 one month).
3. Verizon VS Tmobile. Really it depends on where you live but I would say Tmobile is way better in MA but my dentist office I get well over 500MBS on Visible.. so it depends on where you live but my wife works in Boston and she gets one bar in 4lte with Visible in her building and she had 5G with Mint. My wife HATES visible but I am OK with it... kind of like the unlimited hotspot.
if you get a NEW number that is considered like a NEW line... and who cares what you do with your old number?
Really hard to follow.
CHEAPEST... highly recommended that you DO NOT USE... because you do not have access to Unlimited premium data on Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband network. So you may be throttled compared with someone that has the mid or higher tier plan.
So the difference between the Mid and Higher tier plan.
HOTSPOT... it is 5GB/s on their LOWEST, then 10GB/s on their Mid and 15GB/s on their high end.
Their high end allows you to call many countries that you would be charged with if you had the other two planss.
AND two week pass if you go to another country for the highest level... one week pass for their mid level and NO PASS with their lowest level.
Lastly you can get $15 off your FIOS internet bill regardless of which option you take. I personally switch between the two companies BUT I may have to stick to Visible so I get my FIOS discount.

BUT... I feel...
Mint has AMAZING customer service.
Data speeds ARE THE SAME as premium carriers
Never had an issue with network congestion
Like saving money and don't need or want a store.
Love their customer service including their support with SIM swapping.
Basically, I highly recommend THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT THAT GUY SAID.
Really, you need to research your state and your area and see who has the best towers where you live.
Visible's lowest-tier plan is throttled by being deprioritized
Visible+ Plan and their pro plan....
Premium Data: You get 50GB of priority data, after which your data is also deprioritized. Mint will deprioritize you after 35GB of data. Both will NEVER throttle you but as you can see Visible wins in the data department.

I believe you have to move out of Mint for 90 days in order to get any "new customer" offers.
no clue what 25.25 is for a recovery fee.. ive had 3 lines with mint mobile now for 4 years and never paid over the 180 for each one for a year.
