Equivalent to Visible+ is Total 5G+, which you can get for $30/month on BYOD.

T-Mobile performs poorly on QCI7 (Mint and every other T-Mobile MVNO) when it's overcrowded, especially in places like Costco or a stadium. However, T-Mobile has the best raw download speeds when it's not congested. One reason for such performance is that almost all name-brand T-Mobile's own plans run on QCI6, as does Google Fi. So, every T-Mobile MVNO will have a bad time (except Google Fi) when congested.

Only a select few Verizon postpaid plans run on QCI7. All other MVNOs (Visible+, Visible+ Pro, Total 5G, 5G+, Spectrum) and Verizon Wireless run on QCI8. Then, at QCI9, all other deprioritized plans, like Visible Base, Total Base, and select US Mobile Warp, are found.

Just port your number to google voice so you keep your current number. Then sign up as a new customer and just forward from that new number to your number in gv and your good. Your able to skip around and get the best deals all the time. Just have to change your esim/sim and forward your new number each time.

FWIW: I was on Mint for years until recently. Then I encountered a customer service disaster involving a recurring service interruption. Cynics will observe that, when it comes to CS, you get what you pay for on a budget carrier. Which is fair, but the issue was one Mint (eventually) acknowledged as an error on their end. So FYI that Mint can be great until they're not -- and then they become impossible, esp. compared to what I encountered when I first signed on.

Mint is pretty great service. I've been on them for many years and never had an issue. Speed is decent for the price and the international aspects are wonderful when you travel as long as you don't need a local number

Check out Google FI Wireless. Same T-mobile network.
They don't have Apple device discounts but you can use apple devices on their network.

They are offering 50% off for 1 year. Much more flexible plans also.

Mint is considered QCI7 correct?

I did the same.. but if you hold out until close to the renewal date, and have auto renew disabled, I've found they send a couple "warning, your renewal is coming up and you haven't signed up for service yet! Turn on auto renew!" Messages.. and then offer a pretty steep discount a few days before the renewal date. I think mine came to like $180/year for a slightly lower service (20Gb??)
That's good to know. Will remember it next time. Unfortunately, when I signed up for me and my wife I set up a 'Mint family'. And they don't allow auto-renew to be off for a 'Mint family'. I hadn't realized that. I had called mint earlier and they refused to give me this deal. So yesterday I bought the USMobile annual plan for my wife for $195 (her mint plan expires in a few days). She'll have to shift to AT&T network, but we are in a big city and coverage of all carriers is decent enough. I myself am on the cheapest 5GB mint plan for a year (I have a separate company phone so don't need much data in my own personal line). Will remember your trick for when my plan is about to expire in 9-months. I guess we'll have to keep switching services to get the best deal.

I was just about to buy this deal, and then I noticed that the fine print says that Mint Mobile will deprioritize after 50GB of use per month. US Mobile throttles (worse than deprioritizing) after 70GB of use per month. So, I ended up sticking with US Mobile, even though I am paying about $6 more per month (all taxes, fees included) for US Mobile. That extra 20GB of priority data makes a difference.
Good to have competition driving more value for consumers. IIRC both US Mobile and Mint Mobile used to have 35GB/month data caps not that long ago.

USM Lightspeed (TMO)starter is 70GB, premium is "unlimited" high speed. They have 50% off deal now but that is on ATT network only so YMMV. Also as you notice USM the price is the price, w/ mint you need to add taxes and recovery fees so tack on another $40 or so (at least in my state).

I have liked Mint, I have not liked having to extend 3 months to 3 months because I haven't moved to an alternate plan because I keep putting it off.

I want to get this so bad right now, but I need a new phone in the mix like they sometimes do.

Yes I can voucher for that. While I was on Mint last year my speed tests hoovers 900Mbits on average, where I just recently jumped ship to US Mobile's Dark Star and am only getting a fraction of the speed on average. I haven't tested network congestion at large crowd events under US Mobile's ATT network yet, but it's true with deprioritzed data you WILL experience delays and lags.
