Maybe a .99$ sharpie?
I have them in "sets" based on age, of course (started years ago with "A" on NiMh's. I think I am on "Q" by now in Eneloops). Sharpies wear off over time so I put a small piece of clear shipping tape over the marking. HTH.

Love those Eneloops!

That's what I do, too. I write the month & year on each battery from the same set. I use sets of four for my camera flashes so I also write a big "A," "B," "C," etc. at the top of each set.

I have 10-year-old one that still works like new. Eneloop batteries are the only ones that can work normally with full-size Camera Flash systems. other brands drain out after a couple of shots.

Go buy Ikea's rechargeables. They are Eneloop batteries with a different label and better price.
Sir, this is an 8 pack for $16. LADDA 2450 mAh are $11.99 for a 4 pack, and 1900 mAh 4 packs are $9.99............

Nice deal. How do I label my new ones to keep them from being mixed up with my old ones?
Good question - I actually bought neon green nail polish to put a 'dot' on new one's that went into circulation. Of course you'd want to change up your colors every so often, but works for me!

Do these work on Schlage smart dead bolt (older model Connect BE469ZP) and Moen Cadia Touchless 87869EWSRS faucet?
Yes they will. I have similar models, except mine are Kwikset handle door and Moen. The Moen faucet takes about 6-8 batteries which were one of the reasons I went into Eneloop. That and the fact that Copper Top aka Duracell are just rubbish these days. Mine were leaking and when I called Duracell's customer service, they offered me $1 coupon towards purchase of their products. Never again will I ever buying them.
Long rant end. The Kwikset takes 4 AA cells.

Wow! 19% more capacity than the Eneloop (2500mah vs 2100mah), significantly cheaper, and include a charger.
What's the catch?
I haven't trusted Chinese product descriptions, have you?
Watch youtube Project Farm comparing eneloop and other chinesium batteries. Dude is the best there is for product comparison.

Nothing against chinese made products, my next favorite shopping site is AE.

Sharpie, date placed in service

Regular sharpie will wear off from heat during charging. I use a dymo label to label in pairs and year.

My Moen faucet takes 6 AA. Could you recommend a charger?

I am sick of NiMH batteries that self-discharge as soon as they are consumed. I switched to lithium, and everything lasts 3-4 times as long. Also, the 1.5V output has advantages in anything with a motor.
