i see that the ebay ones have 1 year warranty atleast but how is the build quality between Dell and HP?
Also note that there's a mix of efficiency-oriented CPU generations here:
- 11th gen 4-core
- 12th gen 2P + 8E core
RAM is upgradeable via two (2) SO-DIMMs slots. Storage is upgradeable via a single M.2 2280. Even the Wi-Fi module is upgradeable(!).Plenty of solid configuration options / price points.

Edit: shipped the broken one back, then they sent me another. Still no backlit keyboard. Touchpad didn't work immediately, but eventually started working and has been fine. Also updated the touchpad firmware per https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/com...with_dell/. Had Win 11 21H2 out of the box, no drivers (not even wifi). Updated to 25H2, updated the BIOS, and it seems to be performing a lot better. Still seems like it was a decent deal, but definitely wasn't as turnkey as I expected.
