Extreme YMMV, but you can check the HD website across locations to see clearance price(s). Other mowers may be available at other locations - I found this one at Middletown, CT. They had to get it down with a forklift but were very accommodating and helpful.

And $225 is cheaper than the 8ah battery by itself!

dang I paid $250 for 20" with 6ah battery and NOT self propelled. It was a time in need so oh well. This seems like a really good deal

This one isn't self propelled either if it makes you feel any better!

I paid 349 for the self propelled model. Definitely worth the extra cash imho

I think it's only for in-store purchase (not pickup) for certain stores.

A few weeks ago my local store had the 20", 6ah, push mower on clearance for $230. I talked to a manager since my store had that one for $200 most of the summer, and $180 at Labor Day. She said she couldn't do any price matching. I asked if there was any reduction she could do rather than storing in the overhead all winter. She said she could reduce by $25 or 50, I took the 50, lol. I asked if I could have both of the ones they had in stock, she agreed. Got 2 for $180 each. Gave one to a family member in a nearby city, and his energy company had a 25% rebate, so his ended up $135.

Just kind of fell into the deal, wasn't expecting to even buy one, came home with 2.

The RY401018 which is a 20in self-propelled was available for $260ish. For me the bigger battery is worth the trade off, but not for everyone...
