At this price, get this Anycubic S1 instead of FF AD5x! S1 comes with everything you need. If you get AD5x, you need to buy enclosure kit, LED light, camera kit etc so total would be possibly more than this S1 without the AMS with dryer kit plus you can print 8 colors later if you want and 250mm vs 220mm. There many open source software you can use to unlock all advance features

I originally ordered this when Anycubic had their $499 deal or whatever it was at the time and eventually just cancelled. I guess that turned out to be a good thing.

I hope there will be a separate deal for ACE pro that way I can do 8 multi color print

I picked this up new off Facebook Marketplace last week for $325. I thought that was a good deal already, but some of y'all buying it for under $300 is a steal. So far, it's a great machine.

I want to buy Biqu Frostbite build plate for this Anycubic Kobra S1 but can't seem to find the correct size for it. If I get the 250mm, it will be too small. Any tips and advice?

I still don't understand the use for 3D printers for non hobbyist like me. Tempted to buy one and try but also worried I'm throwing money at something that I will never use. Ok for a $10 slick deal item FOMO but this seems like an overkill

The best thing about 3d printers is it can solve problems that have no solution. For myself, I have a gutter with a round drain pipe. Very expensive to replace, but with a 3d printer I created an adapter that goes from round to standard gutter downspout size. Saved be about $50 and I actually needed 2. Go to a website with free 3d plan downloads and look around. You can make anything from picture frames to toys to actually working tools.

This or Bambu Lab A1 3D ? I see not good reliability reviews for this one on Amazon, even though 4.9 stars here.

Kids want one, and while I don't mind tinkering around, something beginner friendly is preferable!
