I was just researching this and it looks like the only differences are the brown box packaging, additional year of warranty coverage, and slightly different coloring. The older retail versions (3, 3S) used the unifying receiver, but it looks like all variants now use the bolt receiver.

Business vs Regular Logitech

I thought the Logitech MX Master 4 uses Bolt. There is no Unifi option. Doesn't matter if it's the regular version or the Business version.

There's a couple differences between the MX Master 4 and 3. The MX Master 4 has one additional button on the side, called the "gesture" button. The MX Master 4 has also relocated where the thumb pad button is to a more natural location, called the "Haptic Sense Panel". For me, these are actually great changes. I use this mouse for both gaming and work at the same work station. The extra gesture and haptic sense button location will be more better for gaming and work. This feels like the right location and amount of buttons for both.

Am I understanding right that this can be paired with up to three devices, but you have to flip it over to switch devices?!?

You can use the button on the bottom of the mouse (yes, flip over). That's pretty normal and you can easily flip the mouse with one hand to press the button quickly. You can also use logetech software that manages multiple PCs and seamless switching.

Want to give this mouse a go to see if I like it over the 2S. Any idea on Lenovo with return policy if its not to your liking? Restocking fee?

Here's Logitech's page about the business version https://www.logitech.com/en-us/sh...4-business

As someone else mentioned earlier in the thread, they are essentially the same including the bolt receiver.

I'll consider it when Logitech adds board storage and macro functions to the MX series.

I just got the regular version for home. It feels so smooth to use. I want to buy another one for travel. This is too tempting. Has anyone had any luck finding a hard shell case for the mx4? The ones I've seen say they don't fit the mx4.

Yeah it's surprisingly not that bad though you get used to it. I do it daily to switch between a laptop and pc. You can also just use Logitech flow i think.

FYI this WILL NOT pair with non-logibolt receivers (non-business). If your keyboard or other logitech accessories are not business class they will need their own seperate receiver.
Logi Bolt isn't business specific. I bought my MX Keys Mechanical and MX Masters 3 at Best Buy as a consumer and it came with the Logi Bolt. It's more secure that the Unifying receiver. I think that was the reasoning behind creating and moving to the Bolt receiver.

I have an M720 with a much more accessible button to switch PCs. You're sure there's an option to switch in software? I use Options + regularly and hadn't noticed an option to do that. Ideally I'd like to be sync my keyboard (MX Keys S) and mouse switching
