Technically at launch they said Series X was underpriced at $499. Same with the PS5. Sony made internal console changes to reduce production costs but still raised the price. Microsoft just raised the price to reflect production costs. Series X was always expensive hardware. Series S at $300 was the real steal this generation.

I got one of the Refurbs on Microsoft Store using a 15% CB deal via Paypal.

I might in the market for another if they drop under $500 for Black Friday.
