WARNING - Check the picture that's what I got for my AirPods Pro from Walmart. Their delivery people are thieves. Walmart would not refund because the box was "delivered" to my door! $169 + tax for some ripped up Apple cardboard! PLEASE STAY THE HELL AWAY!!!

Community Reviews

AirPods Pro 2 stands out as a strong upgrade for Apple users who want better noise cancelling, USB C charging, volume control, conversation awareness, and especially call quality. The community also points to solid real world performance, with several confirming the earbuds are legit and work as expected, and some stacking price matches or card offers to cut the cost further. The main caveat is availability, since the model is being discontinued and the best prices have sold out quickly. A good fit if you want Apple integration and can still find a pair at the right price.

Common Questions (5)

  • The upgrade adds USB-C, stronger ANC, volume control, and Conversation Awareness, and it also moves you off Lightning. If your Pro 1 battery is still fine, the improvement may feel small; if you want the newer features or need to replace aging batteries, Pro 2 is the practical step.

  • AirPods Pro 3 reportedly have better ANC and transparency and are more comfortable for many people. AirPods Pro 2 are still considered very decent, and the main tradeoff is paying less now versus waiting for a bigger discount on the newer model.

  • The Best Buy listing discussed here is open-box, while the earlier $100 and $110 prices were described as open-box and new, respectively. If you want new units, verify the listing details before buying.

  • Best Buy does price match, and chat with an agent is the suggested route. If the item is already sold out, the match may be harder to get, so placing a second order while the price is live can help.

  • An Amex card coupon for 20% off up to $25 can stack with the deal. Staples can also price match, which can be useful if you want to use points or other store credit.

I would take it to a retailer that price-matched competitors.

Is this worth buying even at $140? I missed out on the $100 and $110 deals. Any chance something similar comes back?
I looked on SD, didn't see it, when did you see $100 and $110 for pro 2s? UPDATE, looks like that was for used ones.

If I remember correctly, the $100 one were open box and the $110 were new but they both went OOS quickly
