These used to be for a 'box' and not $25 -- they learned inflation.

From See's site, I see that its Dark Salted Caramel candy is basically "sugar, cream, chocolate, corn syrup," and "cocoa butter" (the first 5 ingredients). It's unclear what ingredients the "chocolate" contains, especially since chocolate is already supposed to contain cocoa butter.
Forget it. For premium prices, I want chocolate made with better ingredients and better disclosure. In the meantime, Riesens seem like a better deal pricewise with "GLUCOSE SYRUP (FROM WHEAT OR CORN), SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE (SUGAR, CHOCOLATE LIQUOR, COCOA BUTTER, BUTTERFAT, SOY LECITHIN EMULSIFIER, VANILLA POWDER), SUGAR." At least Storck discloses what its chocolate is made out out of.
Note: when I was younger, I would scarf down 1/4 lb of Fannie May dark chocolate covered caramels every Friday as a reward for getting through the week. This was when Fannie May still had physical stores. A trip to Chicago and a visit to Fannie May's outlet downtown almost ended my life (bought too much candy).
