Sling is the cheapest cable TV replacement offering every live channel I want, but it is operated so poorly with every commercial break stuffed with their fingernail-on-chalkboard Sling promos repeated and repeated, and then repeated purple hair Ad Council PSA repeated and repeated.

There should be a serious full-featured low price cable TV replacement on the market that could replace Sony Vue which still remains the high watermark.

This is, by far, the worst Roku player you can get. No TV power/volume controls on the remote, no voice control, less portable than Roku's streaming sticks. The only reason to even consider this is if you have an IR-based universal remote and don't want to buy a Roku Ultra.

Amazon has the Roku Streaming Stick for $19 (no 4K) or the Streaming Stick Plus (4K) for $29. I am imploring you to buy either of those instead of this.

Thanks for the heads up. Having the volume controls is almost necessary. Also, it's worth getting a better one for snappier UI.
