Bought this a few months ago, and it worked well until yesterday, when I noticed that it popped open due to a bulging battery. I feel fortunate that it didn't catch fire

Yeah, I'm sure "INIU" will get right on that in their laboratory. The downside of generic Chinese brands on Amazon or Walmart is that there's nobody on the other side to care. They'll refund your order to keep their review score high and that's it.
