People often don't realize that every game you will ever play on a PS5 was built on a PC. They essentially just use DRM to keep it locked down to PS5. That's all "exclusive" really means, it's not a giant technical leap to support running it on PC, where it was already built.
Microsoft learned this way before Sony and is why their approach is increasingly running on as many platforms as possible now.
The value of a PS5 or X is the software... No antivirus, other distracting shit like browsers, email, etc. You're paying for software. There are literally infinitely more options and ways to enjoy content on a PC than a console.
Steam is releasing a PC "Console" next year with SteamOS on it (So solves the software stuff by making it single-purpose and still allows you to consume it easily like a console but then benefit from Steam's giant library).
