100lbs hanging on drywall without hitting a single stud, attached only by nails of all things and not even something more suitable like toggle bolts? That mount is trash! Pretty good chance any tv hung on that as stated and with the hardware included would soon be trash too!

So the 1100+ people who gave this 4.7/5 stars with some really detailed reviews by many with TV's up for months must all be lying?

Im sure it works and it should given how much surface area it grabs onto but i dont think itl hold if even a small earthquake hits, likes ones you would bolt to a stud

Granted on earthquakes.but most areas of the US rarely experience them. so really up to one's judgement if this is a good solution for their needs.

seems like normal price, that being said, I was in need of something like this so I got one.

I'd definitely be at least adding toggle bolts onto it, but it looks like the mount rail only accommodates the nails it comes with. Would not buy/use if in CA...

I have no experience with this mount, and I'm not endorsing or disapproving of it either.

I'm always amazed how light in weight these LED panels have become. I had an old school 42" LCD back in the day that weighed more than three or four 65" TVs do today.

Keeping that in mind, I think people generally overestimate the stress being put on a wall mount.

Even so, not all TVs are the same. Most OLED panels would be drastically different in weight difference than many conventional LCDs that are still being sold today. I am in the camp that likely wouldnt trust this product because although they may be lightweight, OLED will absolutely be obliterated from a light drop in the event of mount failure as suggested in the earthquake scenario above.
