I play 100% offline. I usually upgrade every 3-4 years and last bought 2K23. Can any vouch for the offline improvements?

Worth noting that for the last several iterations of 2k basketball they remove all online functionality 2 years after the game's release. That includes all city and story modes also. I just find this unforgivable when you factor in the amount of grinding and microtransactions these games have.

Does this edition incorporate going down with fake injuries to rig sports betting? Like maybe you create an online player circle that conspires and plays rigged poker games as a side mission? Or will that not be in until 2k27?

They usually go on sale for $10-15 towards the end of the current season. I don't mind picking it up at that price to casually play
