Dell [dell.com] has 34" Alienware AW3423DWF 3440x1440 165Hz Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor for $549.99. Shipping is free.

Note: Select AMEX cardholders can save an extra $100 on $500+. I also believe if you sign up for their newsletter [dell.com] you'll get a unique coupon code for 10% off your purchase (this would drop it below $500 though cancelling out the AMEX discount - maybe there's a filler item you can add but no clue).

Specs:

  • Refresh Rate: 165Hz (DisplayPort) or 100Hz (HDMI)
  • Panel Type: Quantum Dot OLED
  • Curvature: 1800R
  • Response Time: 0.1ms gray-to-gray
  • Contrast Ratio: 1M:1 (typical)
  • Adaptive-Sync Technology: AMD FreeSync Premium Pro

Also Paypal has a 15% cashback up to $175. Tempting since I have both offers.

Same price at Amazon but you lose the possible 10% off and the Amex offer obviously.

Older model but still good. Might be worth it for some to get the new, updated model. Will consider this... too bad the cash back sites haven't started their higher cash back rates yet!

yeah it's fp'd for the same price here. https://slickdeals.net/f/18760429
the 10% and amex (especially if it's possible to combine both? not sure...) made it worth posting imo.

Is this good for productivity or better for gaming?

When I had it, I used it for both. I now have a 32" Alienware 4K OLED and use it 70/30 work/gaming. No burn in but it's a generation or two newer for the OLED tech I believe.

What offer is that? I only see Dell 4% back at PayPal.Will the Amex offer still work, when using PayPal?

Easily both.

I love having two programs open side by side for productivity. No longer switching from tab to tab as 2 are open.

Works flawlessly for gaming.

1800R is a really mellow curve, I have a 34" LG with 800R and it's a bit too much for me (I have to sit too close and it takes up a lot of desk depth). Looking for a 34" somewhere in between.

Mine crapped out recently. Exited a game and the screen went blank. The CS is great after asking me to take a bunch of photos with a post it with my name and the sn#. I had a replacement delivered in two days.
