The Pixel 10 promo is a 24 month T Mobile trade in offer that can cover the whole Pixel 10 family, with the strongest value on grandfathered plans and some Costco routes adding a waived activation fee, a $100 shop card, and sometimes free Pixel Buds 2a. The trade in credit is applied as monthly bill credits, so taxes are still due up front and the phone stays carrier locked until paid off. The main catches are plan eligibility, possible promo misapplied at checkout, and losing remaining credits if the line is cancelled early. It is a better fit for customers staying put for the full term.

  • Upgrading through T-Mobile SIS Costco can add a $100 Costco shop card benefit.

  • The $800 trade-in promo is described as working across the Pixel 10 family.

  • The promotion can show up in the T-Mobile app upgrade flow for qualifying plans.

  • Trading in at a T-Mobile store can complete the trade-in immediately and reduce shipping delays.

  • Trade-in credits may not appear correctly at first, and some Costco orders show missing or incorrect promotion credits.

  • The deal requires paying applicable taxes on the full device price before bill-credit offsets.

  • The Pixel Buds 2a offer is online-only, limited to one per account, and requires adding phone and earbuds in the same transaction.

  • Leaving T-Mobile or disconnecting a line before the 24-month EIP term can forfeit remaining bill-credit credits.

How much do I have to pay total for the 2 years of service?
Pretty sure it is the ((original balance of the device - the value of your trade in) divided by 24 months)) + cost of your T-Mobile plan = the monthly balance which must be paid. Just an idea

The free Pixel 2a bud is out of stock online and my Costco T-Mobile stated that they cannot add it since it's online only. I know some of SDers was able to convinced their Costco T-Mobile but mine wouldn't honor both. Anyways, I still did a trade-in deal for this Pixel 10 with my Simple Choice plan at Costco T-Mobile. The deal comes with $100 Costco cash card after 16 week. My out of pocket expense was $95 for a Samsung phone + tax on Pixel 10.

Is your Samsung phone ($95) unlocked for trade-in from Costco? TIA. Some say yes, some say no.

In the past, I had to request for unlock. AFAIK, they do not unlock automatically without a request.

t-force can give you $129.99 credit instead of the bud. I tried with them and they agreed.

Did the deal end? It's still advertised on the website but the actual offer no longer there.

Note for anyone who upgraded through the T-mobile SIS Costco.

I upgraded through T-mobile inside Costco in late August, and received my Costco GC for the upgrade (so 100ish days). I did not have to submit any forms like I had to submit for my previous upgrades; so it's true that T-mobile auto registers you for the benefit. All I did was to set a calendar entry to follow-up in 4 months in case I never received the GC.

The Costco GC was emailed (It's time to claim your Virtual Costco Shop Card) and texted (T-Mobile: As a part of your T-Mobile purchase at Costco...) to the account holder number. It was $100 GC for my upgrade, may changed by now.
