11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

Did someone say something about getting a paypal CC to do this with on sites like Costco or am I just misunderstanding things.

Or would I not see the Pay Later option until I click "agree and Continue" (see attached screenshot) after clicking checkout with paypal?
p.s. I know this won't work with some Chase cards. If you're looking at the screenshot, I do have a couple of Amex cards as well tied to my PP account. Juts couldn't fit on the screenshot.
1. When I check out do, I chose "PayPal" or "PayPal Credit"?
2. I have some eBay gift cards. Can I use those gift cards and still take advantage of this deal with the remaining post-gift card balance?
Use PayPal and look for the Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly option. PayPal Credit is different and not part of the promo.
