11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

I'm also wondering but would a "gift certificate" also count or be considered as a "stored value card"? Technically, it's not a "card" hahaha.
Also, after the pay in 4 payments disappeared yesterday after two transactions it came back today and I used it again to hit the 1250 max and all transactions are showing pending 20% points.
Anyone know whether payments for utilities (electric, water, gas), taxes (real property, income), or insurance (home, auto, rental, personal property, medical) qualify for this offer?
So I did 2 before I went to bed, on technically two different days.
Now today, over 12 hours since my last pay in 4 purchase, since it's still technically the same day as my 2:40 AM purchase, I still can't use pay in 4. I'll see what happens after midnight.
Points are still pending for 90 days until I can use them.

Do you have a CCR? It shows up in my BoA account as "Paypal *PYPL Payin4" and not the name and location of the retail store I bought the item from.
