Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

You know what. The terms are kind of confusing. "For each Eligible Purchase, each Eligible Participant will receive a maximum of 25000 Points, which can be redeemed for $250 cash or other options (the "Reward") per Eligible Purchase."But then it also states"During the Special Offer Period, Eligible Participants will earn Points equivalent to 20% cash back on one or more Eligible Purchases up to $1,250 spent."I'm actually leaning to believe that there is an account limit based on T&C but maybe it's not being enforced? We will see in about 90 days!
You can spend as much as you want and in as many purchases as you want, but rewards is capped at $250 for this promotion which is 20% of $1250.

Does anyone know why Pay in 4 disappears if you back out of the order after getting approved?

I was about to order something from Walmart, but wanted to select store pickup instead of shipping after I already clicked on the Palypal Pay in 4 link and got approved for the 4x payments. The pending transaction showed on Paypal, so I called their support and had them cancel the pending transaction, but the option to select Pay in 4 is still not showing up on the paypal payment portal when I go through Walmart. Anyone know how to get it to reappear?

This is Paypal. They won't be that generous. I'm just gonna assume it's up to 25,000 points redemption for this 20% promotion based on the line about "one or more Eligible Purchases up to $1,250 spent".

Sure sounds like it's $1,250 per account now that I read it again, and it would track with how Paypal generally operates.

Has anyone else had success with Chase creditcards? I don't believe Paypal 20% pay-in-4 works with Chase creditcards. When I try to add card during pay-in-4, paypal gives me error. I have Chase freedom and Chase freedom flex already connected to paypal, but they don't work with pay-in-4. I have been trying the last 2 days, and I tried Firefox/Chrome/Edge. I tried with and without vpn. But it always breaks when I press "Add card", so it must be my Chase creditcards not being allowed.

for some reason i don't see that at Western Digital at Paypal checkout, so does that mean not all retailers/vendors have this option
