11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

Edit: Correction, there is no $5000 limit per account. There was some misinformation posted earlier. The terms are clear that there isn't a user limit across multiple transactions, only on a single purchase, which is $1250. The global limit is among ALL participants using the deal.

Anyone had this problem? I couldn't use the Chase Freedom that's already in my account and I couldn't use my spouse's Chase Freedom either. Trying to make a purchase at Target. Thanks
