Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I used pay in 4 for a 2nd transaction today ( with a gap of a week between 1st and 2nd). However, I don't see the pending points yet, is it normal? my first transaction showed pending points almost immediately. I was offered pay in 4 and the first installment shows success, yet no points. did they run out of points?

Has anyone who received a denial letter (of any kind) been able to use Pay in 4 later on?

What happens if you return an item and have paid all the 4 payments already. Do you get the full amount refunded? Obviously you won't get the points. Anyone had to return something?

I believe I read somewhere that if you still have payments outstanding, it applies against the payments and the remaining becomes your paypal balance. Since you are inquiring refund after all 4 payments are paid off, I assume the full amount would be a credit balance on ur paypal account. You will have yo transfer it out yourself. This seems the most logical to me

I did two Home Depot purchases two days ago, one with pay monthly, one with pay in 4, and both said points pending, while the purchase was pending, and now nothing about points on the website now that they have reached completed status. Never once did it tell me my points amount.

They will always be pending points or cashback or whatever you want to call it until the return window passes for each retailer. PP is not dumb to give you points and then return the items. I hope people have some common sense.
You could return the item this summer and the retailer gives you a gift card; PayPal doesn't care about a stupid return window. you think the retailer and PayPal are coordinating on the potential return process? c'mon. shake head

you return it and PayPal will make the proper adjustment....seriously? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Just used this tonight with Best Buy. I wanted to add my Chase Freedom card to pay with to see if maybe I could get the 5% on top of it when 2 payments are made next month, but PayPal would not let me add any Chase credit cards to pay with. I ended up using my Amex that was already an option to use. I made the purchase on my pc and got a notification within a few minutes from the PayPal app on my phone with the amount of points I now have pending - which was equivalent to the 20%.

can we pay the remaining installments right away for the offer to apply successfully? Or do they need to be processed via the 4 installments only?

yes, for some reason, chase freedom doesn't work. They don't want you to stack 20% with the 5%

Pay in 4 is not available to residents in Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico and North Dakota.

Pay Later in monthly installments is available for me, but each option has a decent amount of interest attached to it. Bummer.
I am in nevada and pay in 4 is available

So it won't be refunded back to your credit card that you paid it with but a balance to the PayPal account.
