11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

I also made another purchase to replace the returned item and used pay in 4 again. Paypal shows points pending for the new transaction also, even though the combination of the two transactions exceeds the $1250 spend limit. I'm a little skeptical if we will actually receive the points, but I sure hope so.
