Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I just ordered a computer from best buy worth $1320, that was more than 30 min ago. I did use the pay in 4 option via paypal with my citi card, and I had that 20% offer saved prior to the purchase. But I still have not see any points pending. The order went thru with no issue and I did receive the paypal email about the pay in 4 plan. How long does it take to see my 20% points? I did log out and log in but still nothing showed up.

I see the offer in the top of the website but its not letting me save now. shows "Something's not quite right. Let's give it another go."
I have the same error on the web. On the app it just says "failed to save deal"
Very frustrating

5 days later and my Pay in 4 and Pay Monthly options are still missing after I got an "unusual activity" denial. Been a paypal customer for 25 years and never had an issue. Very frustrating

Talked to pay in 4 rep and was told it will be few weeks before you see the option again.

Is "Pay Monthly" in 24 months qualified for the 20% cash back? Thanks.

I have now done three transactions using. The first two showed up right away and the right amounts. The second one did break up the single product purchased into two things for some reason. It was for a $800 graphics card and split out part of the amount and labeled apparel for some reason.

But the third one I should have received 6,000 points and instead got only 1,000. But in all cases the pending was right away.
I suspect yours maybe did not work.

1. Transaction of $150 through Walmart 11/24/2025, success.
2. Transaction of $500 through urlhasbeenblocked 11/25/2025, failed, and this locked Pay in 4 marking it unavailable.
3. Today 11/26/2025 Pay in 4 became available again just by waiting. Transaction of $500 through Walmart Pay in 4, success.
Thanks for sharing and this is pretty positive. I got my first three to work but now my account indicates unusual activity and locked like it sounds you had. Guess have to wait until tomorrow to see if gets unlocked.

Made a Best Buy purchase last night using Pay in 4 and it shows in PayPal that I have the points pending under "Recent Activity". I made a purchase today from NewEgg using Pay in 4 and it does not show any points pending for that purchase, and my notification in the app doesn't mention pending points like it did yesterday. My purchase today did put me over the 1250 limit by about $10, but I don't think that should matter..

Didn't realize there could be interest added to this thing. So make the first payment during checkout, then after how many days should I make the full remaining payment to avoid any fees?
I purchased $70 on Walmart using the pay monthly. I paid it off in 12 hours. I had 7 cents of interest.
I think it works out to 1/10 of 1% a day. Or 10 basis points. That makes sense with 35.99% interest over 360 days.

I'm not sure what's going on, I can still access the offer page but when I try to add it on my account the button refreshes and nothing changes. Not showing up as active on my profile anywhere.
