Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

can you help me with info on what type of card/bank you used? paypal have rejected all my chase, amex, citi, capitalone, wells fargo credit card. they are now rejecting every payment method I add. I tried to connect my bank via paypal but paypal is still rejecting "no eligible card found in my account".
Bank of America worked for me.

Thank you. I don't have BoA. These rejected my sofi, chase, cash app debit cards too. Don't know what's going on.

Use a bank account, none of those cards will work. They'll basically only accept cards that charge them very low transaction fees and have plenty of credit available on them.

When I select pay in 4, it only shows option of card. There is no way to add bank. Are you adding bank directly in paypal and then selecting that during pay in 4?

Folks should probably check their Paypal Rewards page [paypal.com] to see what is still active first.

Mine shows....

20% cash back on one Pay Later purchase with PayPal
Limited time. Terms and exclusions apply. Tap for details.
Completed
Congratulations! You did it!
the offer shows up again, now with new terms and 6 days left. I don't see congratulations. Is it because I just made the first payment and points are pending?
and how quickly can I pay the next 3 payments? When making payments I have to use the same card as before, or I can use something else now?

If I have two PayPal accounts and already used the offer for account 1, can I still use it for account 2 under the new rule? Too lazy, should do this earlier. Any experience?

Having two accounts is a violation of their terms, so if you want to risk drawing extra attention, no reason it shouldn't work.

The bank already has to be in your account and verified before you can use it (for any transaction, not just Pay in 4).

Why do you think we are getting one more usage? I do not see Pay in 4
A few people have mentioned it still seems to be available for them even after placing multiple orders with the promo, and receiving the email stating the promotion is over. They confirmed rewards points for the order after. It's possible the policy is either being slow rolled across accounts, with the promo going away gradually, or it's simply a "you have one more use left" policy.

Thanks. I was able to add one account via Plaid and it showed verified and yet when I selected pay in 4, it asked me to add card. It doesn't show me an option to pay via bank account for pay in 4.

You need a checking account or equivalent and will have to verify it before you can use it.

I can't find the offer even scrolling and reading through all the rewards. Is there a link to the reward I can follow?

When applying."

What does 2B points available?
Once 2 billion points have been claimed across all users the promo ends even if December 2nd hasn't come yet.

Just made a purchase at Best Buy today on Nov 26th but no points pending in my paypal acct. This purchased was about 7 hrs ago. I've seen others on the forum with points instantly after purchase. Weird. Hope it will show up soon.

The original offer disappeared and another one appeared that's 20% for only 1 purchase. Did the other one get used up or did they retroactively nerf the offer?
