11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

I got the email 2 days ago. Before the email, I made 4 purchases and accumulated only 9000 points all together. Yesterday, i got some legos and something else from Walmart for 11000 points and the points are pending.
I dont think you need to make a single transaction for the whole 1250 / 25000 points
I buy a 5080 from best buy for $999 + tax.
I use PayPal pay in 4 using the best buy citi visa card.
I get $200 back from PayPal and $75 best buy reward cert from using their visa outside of best buy 5 times/over $600 before the end of the year plus I get another $40 in best buy rewards cert for 2 recurring transactions (these pay in 4 count as recurring right?)

I used it. Instant approval. I didn't care. I know my credit and it won't get dinged in any meaningful way if it were to be pulled
