Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

You're lucky it's still even showing pay monthly as an option. Mine is now only letting me pay full using credit card or sign up for a paypal credit card as options.. Paypal rep I spoke to was able to remove my pending charges (even though they would have disappeared in 3 days on their own) but was hoping this would bring the pay in 4 option back but he said it might not re-appear for at least 24 hours..
Thanks. Repped

Paypal Is stating Capital one cards and Chase cards including Amazon Prime card are not able to be used with for Pay in 4. Is that right?
This may very well be true. I had chase and Capital One cards in the account and it didn't select any. This explains why it just gave me the bank option for the payment.

Was actually able to get a live rep to remove my pending Pay in 4 charges from my non-completed purchase but that didn't bring back the option for pay in 4 so I'm still SOL for using this deal unless it magically re-appears as a checkout option before 12/2 and before this laptop deal ends... worst BF yet
It happened to me the same way and had the CSR remove two failed pending charges. 16 hours until Pay in 4 came back.

So, for those that went over the $1250 total before the emails, did anything that put you over $250 back get deleted?

Noticed one of my transactions that put me over the $250 back is gone and I'm sitting right at $250 available.

All the purchases were made prior to the emails being sent out, so wonder if they stopped anything that went above $1250 total purchasing. (Thankfully wasn't a lot more, but wanted to see if anyone else had this happen.)

I tried checking out an iPhone (total around $1170) but Paypal denied the pay in 4 option. Rejection letter says "Total balance on your outstanding Pay in 4 loans or the Pay in 4 loan amount you requested is too high." I imagine since the promo goes up to $1250 it is possible to make larger purchases. There's nothing wrong with my Paypal account or credit. Does anyone know what could be going wrong? Any other way to get this approval?
I have the exact same situation while trying to purchase an Iphone. Were you able to figure out a solution by any chance?

I still have the promo "saved" in my account, like I still qualify for it despite having 2 qualifying Pay in 4 purchases totaling $570 from the past couple weeks. I went to purchase tickets from Ticketmaster for a show that has some discounted tickets for this weekend, and decided to see if I could get the Buy Now Pay Later 20% cashback once more. I did Pay in 4 like before and it was accepted, but it doesn't appear to be giving me any points despite the total purchase being just under $100. (sadly, just under the $20 cashback threshold of $100 for using Paypal with TM as well) I did indeed receive the same email everyone else received, telling me the promo has ended for my account.

Not a big deal since I still get the 2% cashback as expected with my Citi card, but a little disappointing since I still have the promo saved, and it seems to indicate that I can still claim it.

Just a warning if anyone else is in the same boat as me, having received the "promo ended" email. Don't count on those points!

Should the offer say "completed" in PayPal? I did get the email that I had reached the limit (only two smallish purchases), but the app still says "saved" and not "completed" or "redeemed" like I thought I saw someone else post.

Does "Pay Monthly" work. Has anyone seen success with this option? Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. My promo doesn't say completed anywhere, and seems to indicate I still have it saved and available. It didn't tell me I have any points coming from a $98 Pay in 4 purchase from Ticketmaster.

For those that already received their rewards payout, did you redeemed your points right away or still waiting for remaining points to clear out?
